Termini di servizio

Ultimo aggiornamento: 27 settembre 2026

Usando NEVE (neve.ski) accetti questi termini.

⚠️ Sicurezza in montagna.

Terms of Service

Last updated: September 27, 2026
This is a courtesy translation. The Italian version prevails in case of discrepancy.

By using NEVE (neve.ski) you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

What NEVE is

NEVE is a personal and informational service that helps you choose where to ski by aggregating data on weather, snow, lifts, webcams, avalanche bulletins and community reports. NEVE does not operate lifts, is not a mountain safety authority and does not replace official sources.

No affiliation with ski resorts. NEVE is not affiliated with, sponsored by, authorized by, or in any way connected to the lift operators, ski resorts or ski areas mentioned in the app. Resort names are used solely for descriptive and informational purposes, to identify geographical locations, and belong to their respective owners. Data on runs, lifts, prices and conditions is sourced from publicly available sources and is provided for indicative purposes only: for official, up-to-date and binding information, always refer to the resort's official website.
⚠️ Mountain safety. Information on avalanches, lift openings, weather and conditions comes from third-party sources and may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. Before going into the mountains, and especially off-piste, always check the official bulletins and sources (AINEVA/Meteomont, lift operators). Decisions in the mountains are yours and under your own responsibility: NEVE does not guarantee safety and is not liable for choices based on the data shown.

Account

Some features require an account (email or Google). You are responsible for access to and the activities carried out with your account. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Community content

The reports you post must be truthful and respectful: unlawful, offensive, promotional or misleading content is prohibited. You remain responsible for what you post and grant NEVE the right to display it in the app. We may moderate or remove reported or non-compliant content.

Recording your ski day

NEVE can record your day on snow using the phone's GPS, barometer and accelerometer, and — with the Apple Watch app — heart rate from Apple Health. Recording starts only when you start it.

⚠️ Measurements are estimates, not certified instruments. Vertical, distance, speed and G-force come from consumer sensors and can be inaccurate (poor GPS signal, pressure changes, phone in a backpack). Do not use NEVE as a safety device, for backcountry navigation, or for medical purposes: heart rate is training data, not a medical device.

Recording drains battery and uses background location: if the battery runs out, recording stops. Watch the slope, not the screen: check your data when stopped, never while skiing.

Free of charge

NEVE is a personal, free and non-commercial project by Raffaele Alicino. It sells nothing: the app has no purchases, subscriptions, advertising or affiliate links. The ski pass prices you see are information, not an offer: ski passes are bought from the ski area. Contact: whereis@neve.ski.

Disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is", without warranties of accuracy, completeness or continuous availability. To the extent permitted by law, NEVE is not liable for direct or indirect damages arising from the use of the service or the data it contains.

Intellectual property

The NEVE trademark and graphics belong to their respective owners. Third-party data remains subject to its respective licenses and attributions (e.g. maps © OpenStreetMap contributors, AINEVA bulletins, Open Data Hub data).

Governing law

These terms are governed by Italian law. For disputes, the court of the consumer's place of residence or domicile has jurisdiction, where applicable.

Changes

We may update these terms; the current version is always on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
